Yes. Whisper Walk is completely free. There are no paid tours, no hidden unlocks and no ads. The app reads you the stories of the places around you without ever asking for payment.

That is exactly what Whisper Walk does. It shows the sights near you on a map and reads their Wikipedia articles aloud with a warm voice. You choose the length, the speed and the language.
